Aug. 27th, 2012 07:32 pmEver since the other day, Ianto's birthday, Charlie's felt like something's changed. She's felt lighter. It's as though she's ready to let something go. She's started on the mural but it's really at early stages yet. What she's doing is sketching out ideas on endless sheets of paper. She'd like Jon's idea about incorporating ideas from home and, at this point, Jon and Sam are in the Hub almost as much as she is. It's only fair that she include them, isn't it? In the middle of the afternoon, the Hub is quiet, pretty much just her and Sam, though other people come and go. She's been aware of how sweet he's been, of the fact that he seems to be taking deliberate care with her. Backing off.
God, he's so sweet. Which is really part of the problem.
"So what should I put in for you, sugar?" she asks, chin leaning in her hand, glasses perched on the end of her nose as she sketches.
